What's Next?

What a powerful night we had of prayer and worship at the UNITE National Day of Prayer Thursday at the Mariucci Arena. What God did on May 5th will serve as a catalyst to usher in Lord willing the most saturated season of prayer and outreach ever to come to the Twin Cities campuses. This nation is in desperate need of revival, starting with this generation. Let's continue to unite around this generation, see how below.

PULSE
May 10th is an opportunity to come out and hear more about what the PULSE season is shaping up to look this fall. We are partnering with many college ministries here in the Twin Cities. It starts at 7:30pm at Soujourn Church in Dinkytown.

Moms In Touch Mom, replace your fears for your children with peace and hope when you pray alongside other women in a Moms In Touch group. Groups are available for mothers of all ages, preschool through college and career, as well as groups for grandmothers.

UNITE
A monthly gathering for the college community of the Twin Cities to come together around worship, prayer and mission. Our focus is going to be around the season of outreach next fall. We are going to be at different college campuses each month around the Twin Cities with the Unite Twin Cities worship team. For more info Click Here.

VOLUNTEER

A PULSE season with prayer, training, UNITES, Outreach and discipleship is coming to the Twin Cities colleges. We encourage you and others to sign-up now to be a part of the different teams to go after these college campuses (all ages are welcome). To learn more about these teams, we are meeting on May 10th: (Visit the Facebook event)

	Prayer Team	exists to mobilize the students on campus to come together and pray for the PULSE process. They will encourage prayer groups to start on campus, formulate the programs for Unite and other prayer initiatives.
	Church Relations Team-	exists to inform the church of what God is doing on campus. To encourage the church to be a part of the PULSE initiative in: Prayer, Training and financial giving.
	Evangelism Team-	exists to come alongside and implement areas of evangelism that are stirring on peoples hearts for their campus before the larger outreach.
	RESET Team-	People experienced with moving around band equipment and getting the stage set (1pm)
	Fundraising Team-	exists to share with businesses owners, leaders from the community, etc on what God is doing on campus and encourage them to Give to the PULSE initiative.
	Events Team-	exists to cover the volunteer needs at all PULSE events and logistical needs pre-event.
	Promo Team-	exists to get the word out about events to the students on campus, the College faculty and organizations, the community, media outlets, and surrounding cities

Bands / Artists / Speakers

Nick Hall

Nick Hall is the founder and chief communicator of PULSE, a Twin Cities based, student-led evangelistic ministry at the center of the largest university prayer and outreach efforts in America today. At age 28, his burning desire is to impact this generation with the revolutionary message of Jesus Christ. Traveling as a youth communicator since 2001, Nick speaks to hundreds of thousands of students each year while also serving on the executive board for the US Lausanne Committee, the student advisory team for the Billy Graham Association while serving as a consultant to student and campus ministry organizations nationwide. Nick and his wife Tiffany make their home in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St Paul.

Bob Bakke

Bob Bakke is the senior teaching pastor of Hillside Church of Bloomington. As an international leader in the prayer movement, Bob has served as the North America Director of the Global Day of Prayer while also producing numerous national broadcast Concerts of Prayer. His heart is to encourage the Church toward greater prayer for spiritual awakening.

Fern Nichols

An international speaker and author, Fern Nichols is Founder and President of Moms In Touch International (MITI), a 26-year-old ministry that mobilizes, equips and encourages moms to gather together to pray for children and schools. MITI groups—praying for children from pre-school through college and beyond—meet in every state and in more than 120 countries. Fern and her husband have been married for over 40 years, and they are blessed to have four married children and eight grandchildren. Fern possesses the tenderness of a mother, the strength of a warrior, and the wisdom of a seasoned teacher. She speaks with contagious enthusiasm and passion, which inspires the listener to believe God for the impossible.

Leeland

Grammy-nominated progressive rock act Leeland has been known to deliver song writing beyond its years and worshipful rock so genuine it disarms the honest cynic. Often quoted as one of Christian music's most gripping live bands, the 2006 debut Sound of Melodies and 2008's Opposite Way quickly established Leeland as a leader in the worship community and beyond. While both previous albums were GRAMMY nominated and drew a combined eight Dove nominations, Leeland's measure of success has always been the human heart. And now Leeland's third album, Love Is On The Move is a landmark in the deepest sense.

UNITE Twin Cities Band

The UNITE Twin Cities Band is made up of passionate, anointed worship leaders from numerous churches across Minneapolis-St. Paul. As representatives of the next generation, The UTC Band will join their eclectic styles together to lead us in celebrating Jesus Christ. With a heart for worship and unity in the Body of Christ, each member has led worship in major churches across the metro with several having a music ministry of their own.

Eric Samuel Timm

He's part artist, speaker, author & all passion – this is what gives the Rev. Eric Samuel Timm relevance today. As he speaks, paints & performs Eric captivates his audiences with his unique style & unforgettable one-of-a-kind live art performances. He is sought after for his ability to creatively present truth where words fall short. Founder of NOU & Painting Hope Eric serves humanity. Nick Foulks

Since 2006, Nick has been the Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor at Substance Church in Minneapolis, MN; a multi-site church which was recently ranked as the 21st fastest growing church in America by *Outreach Magazine*. At Substance, Nick oversees a 1000+ member campus, mid-week services, a growing youth ministry, and is also a teaching pastor. His heart for sharing the gospel is evident in his passionate messages and original hip-hop music. Along with hip-hop worship at Substance Nick also performs with a group called, "Trans4merz

Marcus Montana

Marcus Montana, known as TRU-SERVA to his music audience, is a passionate man whose mission is to help others find true life.
TRU felt a calling to use his talent of hip-hop to help change lives. From a young age, hip-hop influenced his style, language and attitude and it felt natural to use this genre of music and way of life to help reach people. Through his rap lyrics, he portrays a powerful message of the cross and of a positive change. He sees himself as an over comer and example of hope to many, where he stepped above the trap of being an African American male dead or in jail by age 25. A strong vision for connection is what this musician strives to accomplish each and everyday. TRU aims to make a connection between the streets and the church, saying "The walls of the church need to fall down and people need to get out of their seats and go out." He also wants to see the connection between generations, where he can speak to both kids and adults.

The Prayer Wall

Please pray with us for all the advance preparations for the prayer gathering on May 5 at the Mariucci Area at the U of M. Pray for those leading teams that include facilities, program, volunteers, prayer, finances, and promotion. There is much to be done in the next month, so please pray that God will orchestrate all the details.

· Begin praying now for thousands of students, adults, and families to attend this unique prayer gathering. The Mariucci seats 10,000 people, and we would love to have it filled with all generations.

· Pray for the campus ministries and Christian colleges in our region to catch the vision and mobilize their students to come on May 5. · Ask God to speak to the hearts of the older generations to pray, come, give, and support this prayer gathering.

· Pray for God to move mightily through this vision for prayer. Our nation is in desperate need of revival, and God often moved in years past with great spiritual awakening on the college and university campuses that impacted the world. May He do it again!
